Refund Policy

Subscription fees for Conversion Guardian are non-refundable. This page explains how cancellations, downgrades, and refund requests are handled.

Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal accessible via your billing page. Upon cancellation:

  • You will continue to have access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made.
  • No refund will be issued for the remaining time on your current period.

If you reactivate your subscription before access ends, your subscription resumes without interruption and no refund or credit applies.

Plan downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan (for example, from Growth to Starter), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to your current plan's features until that date. From the next billing period onward, you will be billed at the new lower rate.

No refund or credit is issued for the unused portion of your current plan.

Plan upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan (for example, from Starter to Growth), the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, calculated as the difference between your current plan and your new plan. You will see the exact amount before confirming any upgrade.

Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are paid in advance for twelve months of service. The non-refundable terms above apply equally to annual subscriptions. We do not pro-rate refunds for annual subscriptions cancelled mid-term.

Payment processing

Conversion Guardian uses Dodo Payments as our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Charges on your bank or card statement may appear as “Dodo Payments” or “DODO” rather than “Conversion Guardian”. This is normal and does not indicate an unauthorised charge.

If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank. Disputes initiated through your bank can result in additional fees, account suspension, and delays in resolution.

Exceptions

We will review refund requests case-by-case in the following situations:

  • Billing errors. You were charged incorrectly, charged twice, or charged after cancellation took effect.
  • Material service unavailability. Conversion Guardian was substantially unavailable for an extended period due to issues on our end (this excludes scheduled maintenance and outages caused by third-party services we depend on, such as your store's API or your analytics provider).
  • Accidental subscription. You purchased a subscription without intent to use the service and contact us within seven days of the initial charge.

To request a refund under any of the above, email ash@conversionguardian.com with your account email address and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within two business days.

Refunds, when issued, are processed back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments. Processing time depends on your bank, typically five to ten business days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be announced on our blog.
